TowerWing™ Is A Wind Streamliner Unlike Any Other
Using our knowledge of aerospace technology, we have designed a protective shroud that nearly eliminates the wind loading on a tower. The TowerWing™ moves with the wind and redirects the wind smoothly around the tower, reducing the drag and turbulence experience by the tower. This increases the stability of the tower as it is no longer being moved by the wind. As a result of the tower moving less, the extremely sensitive directional antennas on the towers are able to maintain connectivity with each other even during rough winds, improving network stability. Less movement of the tower also reduces the stress on the tower structure, reducing maintenance and refurbishment costs in the long run.
